Job Description 

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Test Engineer to lead our testing team and ensure the quality and reliability of our software products, particularly those built using Microsoft technologies. The role involves developing test strategies, managing test processes, coordinating with development teams, and overseeing quality assurance. 

Responsibilities: 

Test Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement test strategies, define objectives, scope, and schedules, and mitigate risks, with a focus on Microsoft-based solutions. 

Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the test team, conduct performance reviews, and foster a positive team environment. 

Test Execution and Oversight: Oversee test plans, ensure efficient execution, track defects, and provide status reports. 

Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce QA processes, improve testing methodologies, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards. 

Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate results and risks, and facilitate meetings. 

Test Automation: Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium with C#, MSTest, and Azure DevOps, to improve test coverage and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. 

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and defects. Prepare detailed test reports and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the testing process and provide insights for continuous improvement. 

  Preferred Knowledge apart from above : 

Automation testing knowledge will be a plus 

Certifications/Credentials 

Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are mandatory 

Mandatory skill sets: 

ETL

Proven experience as a Test Manager or in a similar role, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies. 

Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes. 

Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium with C#, MSTest, and Azure DevOps. 

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 

Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices is a plus.
