We are looking for a highly motivated Infrastructure engineer who is experienced in deploying and managing networks globally in the role of Network engineer for a German based MNC Company. Experience: Min 5 years. Location: Kolkata Mode: Hybrid / WFH 5days (Willing to travel Germany for attending meetings). Salary is not a bar for right candidate. Roles & Responsibilities: Designing and implementing functional network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN). Create, oversee, and test security measures by implementing network enhancements(e.g., access authentication and disaster recovery). Manage incidents, problems and changes related to network infrastructure and provide root cause analysis for major incidents to avoid reoccurring of the issue. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience as Network or Senior Network Engineer managing global networks. Solid understanding and working experience of different network tools (e.g., Solar Winds, WireShark, NMAP, PortScanner, TCPDump, Syslog), technology providers (e.g. Cisco, Meraki, Barracuda, Riverbed). In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF). Know-how about coding languages (Perl and Python) for scripting for automation. Exceptional organizational skills combined with problem solving attitude with customer focus. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field; or equivalent combination of education/professional experience in a similar role. Technical certifications in Network is required: Must be CCNP Enterprise certified – Cisco Certified Network Professional with experience in several of the below areas. Implementing Cisco Enterprise Network Core Technologies Implementing Cisco Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services Implementing Cisco SD-WAN Solutions CCIE Enterprise – Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (good to have, not mandatory)
