QMCI Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

KPMG GDC Quality Management and Continuous Improvement (QMCI) is a program focused on upholding and enhancing the quality of work delivered by GDC Audit team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Perform quality reviews of audit work delivered by Core Audit teams following an established quality framework. 
Evaluate quality review outcomes to proactively identify gaps and lead targeted quality initiatives, fostering culture of continuous improvement. 
Lead the QMCI Kolkata team in close collaboration with other QMCI Managers and ADs. Oversee quality reviews conducted by the team and provide effective coaching and mentoring to enhance audit acumen.
Stay updated on the latest PPLs, Audit news, DPP Bulletins, PCAOB updates on the Auditing and accounting matters and other important updates. 
Build and nurture collaborative relationship with stakeholders in Kolkata office while ensuring QMCI team in Kolkata is maintaining productive engagement with other industries in Kolkata. 
Ensure active participation in firm wide events such as recruitment drives, facilitating trainings, CSR events etc. and remain as a face of QMCI.

Mandatory  technical & functional skills
Orientation toward AI and innovation, with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and working knowledge of Alteryx and Power BI.
Strong project management and communication skills to proactively communicate issues, solutions and progress.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives along with reviews  and meet deadlines.

This role is for you if you have  the below
Educational qualifications 
CA or CPA (shall hold active membership/license)
Work experience
Experience in conducting integrated audits in accordance with AICPA and PCAOB auditing standards, preferably with 6-8 years of post-qualification experience in a Big 4 firm in a client facing role
Experience with audit quality initiatives and audit quality monitoring programs
