Electrical Surveyor

• Key Responsibilities: Supervisor on-site construction activities to ensure they are carried out as per drawings, specifications, and safety norms.
• Hands-on experience in surveying and supervision of LT/HT lines, DTR erection, and rural household connections.
• Ability to handle on-ground challenges and interact with local communities.
• Willingness to travel and work in rural/remote areas.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely execution of work.
• Ensure quality control and testing procedures are followed and documented.
• Maintain site records including work permits, material receipts, DPRs, and labor deployment.
• Verify and ensure timely availability of materials, manpower, and machinery.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Identify site issues and escalate to the concerned authority for timely resolution.
• Assist in quantity estimation, billing, and certification.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
• Conduct detailed field surveys for LT/HT lines, poles, and household connections.
• Prepare survey reports, sketches, and documentation as per project requirements.
• Supervise erection of poles, stringing of lines, DTR installation, and household connections.
• Ensure work is executed as per drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Assist the site engineer in manpower management and work allocation.
• Liaise with villagers, contractors, and local authorities for smooth execution of work.
• Monitor daily progress, maintain records, and provide site updates to reporting manager.
• Ensure compliance with safety and statutory guidelines during execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

• ITI / Diploma (Electrical) preferred; candidates with relevant field experience will also be considered.
• 1–3 years of experience in rural electrification/distribution projects.
