Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Installation Technician to perform the installation of Lightning Arresters and Surge Protection Devices on houses and buildings. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, have a strong understanding of basic tools, and be committed to delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient installation services.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install Lightning Arresters, Surge Arresters, and associated equipment on rooftops and building structures as per company standards.

· Perform drilling, cutting, and clamping work on various surfaces (concrete, brick, metal) to secure installation points.

· Handle and operate basic power tools and equipment safely and effectively (e.g., drill machines, angle grinders, cutting tools).

· Assist in the installation of chemical earthing systems as required.

· Conduct pre-installation site surveys to assess requirements.

· Ensure all work is completed with a high focus on safety and quality.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly manage tools and materials.

· Interact with clients professionally and address basic queries on-site.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Essential: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a technical installation role (e.g., electrical helper, AC installer, satellite TV installer, construction fitter, or similar).

· Essential: Strong proficiency in using basic hand and power tools (Drilling Machine, Cutting Tools, Clamping Tools, Grinder, etc.).

· Basic understanding of electrical concepts and safety practices is a strong advantage.

· Ability to work at heights and handle physical tasks (climbing ladders, lifting equipment).

· Good problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.

· Must be honest, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.

· A willingness to learn and adhere to company installation protocols.

· A valid driver's license and ability to travel to different sites in and around Cochin is preferred.
