Hotel / General Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management: Supervise daily activities across all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance) to ensure quality and efficiency, maintaining service standards, and handling property upkeep.
• Financial Management: Prepare budgets, control costs, analyze financial reports (P&L), set revenue targets, and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
• Guest Experience: Ensure high guest satisfaction, handle VIPs, manage escalations and complaints, monitor reviews, and lead service recovery.
• Staff Management : Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate staff; ensure effective scheduling, performance management, and foster a positive service culture.
• Sales & Marketing: Oversee marketing campaigns, analyze sales figures, set targets, and drive revenue growth through strategic planning.
• Strategic Planning: Develop long-term goals, identify growth opportunities, stay updated on industry trends, and ensure the hotel remains competitive.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to all health, safety, security regulations, and licensing laws.

Core Duties:

• Meetings: Hold regular briefings with department heads (HODs).
• Inspections: Conduct daily walkthroughs of the property.
• Reporting: Review daily performance reports and submit reports to upper management.
• Revenue Management: Oversee pricing and availability (yield management).
• Leadership: Act as the property's leader, making key decisions in the best interest of the hotel.
