Job Description – Intermediate Accountant (CA)

Position:Accountant

Location: Lucknow

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reporting To: CFO/Head of Finance/Director

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage and oversee all financial aspects of our organization. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, auditing, and compliance, with the ability to provide strategic financial insights to support business growth.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Handle statutory compliances including Income Tax, GST, TDS, ROC filings, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage audits (internal, statutory, tax) and coordinate with auditors for smooth completion.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and working capital management.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and controls.
  • Prepare MIS reports and provide financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Support in financial due diligence, mergers, acquisitions, and fund-raising activities (if applicable).
  • Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance on day-to-day operations.



Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI.
  • years of post-qualification experience in accounting, taxation, audit, or financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, Companies Act, and direct/indirect taxes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.



Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience in financial modeling, valuation, and business analysis.
  • Knowledge of international taxation and transfer pricing.
  • Exposure to corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting.
