Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations of our solar Rooftop and EPC business. The role involves handling accounts, taxation, vendor payments, project-wise costing, and compliance related to solar power projects, subsidies, and government portals.
- Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & FinanceMaintain books of accounts (Tally/Busy/ERP)
- Handle daily entries, vouchers, bank reconciliation
- Manage cash flow, petty cash & ledgers
- Prepare monthly, quarterly & annual financial reports
- GST & Taxation
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation)
- Manage input tax credit (ITC) for solar materials
- Coordinate with CA for Income Tax, TDS, audits & compliance
- Solar Project AccountingMaintain project-wise costing (residential, commercial & industrial solar plants)
- Track material purchase, installation cost & margins
- Handle subsidy-related documentation & accounting (PM Surya Ghar / Govt schemes)
- Coordinate with operations & sales team for billing milestones
- Billing & Payments
- Prepare customer invoices (Rooftop / EPC / O&M)
- Manage vendor & supplier payments
- Follow up on receivables & outstanding payments
- Documentation & ComplianceMaintain purchase orders, GRNs, contracts & agreements
- Support UPNEDA/DISCOM/portal-related financial data
- Assist in internal & external audits
