Accounting Intern

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Accounting and Taxation Intern to join our finance team. This internship provides hands-on experience in accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting. The intern will assist in various accounting tasks, tax filings, and financial analysis while gaining exposure to real-world business operations.

Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll, and data entry. Assist in preparing financial statements, tax filings (GST, TDS, income tax), and compliance reports. Participate in internal audits, account reconciliations, and research on relevant tax laws and regulations. Maintain accurate financial records and stay updated with changes in accounting standards.

Requirements:

• Pursuing or completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce (B.Com, M.Com, MBA, CA Intern, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting software like Tally .
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information.

Internship Details:

• Duration: 6 months (with possible extension or full-time opportunity)
• Stipend: [5000]
