JOB DESCRIPTION – ASSISTANT MANAGER (ACCOUNTS)

What You’ll Do (Your Mission!)

Financial Operations

• Oversee daily financial transactions with accuracy

• Ensure timely and correct entry posting across systems

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Manage AP & AR end-to-end

• Ensure timely vendor payments & vendor reconciliation

• Track and follow up on outstanding receivables

• Process vendor invoices with complete documentation

Taxation & Compliance

• Handle GST, TDS & statutory compliance

• Generate and submit tax invoices on time

• Assist in tax filings and stay updated on regulatory changes

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Support budget preparation and forecasting

• Monitor budgets and highlight variances

Banking & Reconciliation

• Perform regular bank reconciliations

• Identify and resolve discrepancies

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports

• Share insights and recommendations with management

Monthly Closing

• Lead and complete monthly financial closing

Audit Support

• Assist internal and external audits with required documentation

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work with operations, HR, sales, etc. for accurate financial data

Team Leadership

• Guide junior team members (team-handling preferred)

Preferred Exposure

• Experience in a CA firm is an added advantage

What We’re Looking For

• MBA / M.com (Finance) preferred
• B.com plus CA Inter (completed) is a strong plus
• 5+ years of experience in Accounts/Finance roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards & regulatory frameworks
• Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software & ERP
• Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
