Job Description: Chef De Partie (CDP)
Location: Naveen Galla Mandi, Sitapur Road, Lucknow
Timings: 8 AM – 5 PM, 6 Days a Week
CTC Range: ₹3–4 LPA (based on experience and skill level)
About Pluckk
Pluckk is a modern farm-to-table company making access to fresh produce easy while
revolutionizing the supply chain. The company has its present across 6 cities namely
Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Lucknow, & Kolkata. In Lucknow, we operate in a B2B
capacity, supplying cut fruits and vegetables to leading quick-commerce and ecommerce platforms through our distribution centre at Naveen Galla Mandi.
Role Overview
We are looking for a young and talented Chef De Partie to manage and run our
Lucknow kitchen. This position is perfect for anybody who is skilled in the kitchen, can
follow recipe instructions perfectly, coordinate procurement and think like an
entrepreneur. The role requires somebody who can think on the job, multitask and be
his or her own boss. The person will also be an integral part of a young team and so
we're looking for someone who comes with a founder mindset. The job will be
challenging and you'll have a small team to oversee and manage daily operations
independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily orders for the kitchen according to the order roster.
- Own the kitchen operations end to end.
- Manage procurement and stock for ingredients.
- Plan and prep daily schedule for mise en for the kitchen.
- Manage wastage, spoilage and create inventory reports for real time stock
- management.
- Train the kitchen staff on recipe launch and development.
- Create and follow strong SOPs in the kitchen for order, inventory, hygiene and
- safety management.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in kitchen operations (FMCG/F&V preferred).
- Hands on knowledge of excel and word, proficient with basic computer functions.
- Knowledge and basic understanding of multiple cuisines and some relevant
- experience.
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
- Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
- Problem solver, quick learner and ‘Can Do It’ attitude.
