Civil Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer with strong expertise in government projects, BOQ analysis, technical drawing interpretation, and team leadership. The candidate will be responsible for complete civil execution, coordination between site and office, and ensuring quality, structural integrity, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Engineering

• Expertly read, interpret, and execute work as per architectural, structural, and civil drawings.

• Thoroughly analyze BOQs, tender documents, and technical specifications.

• Verify quantities, measurements, and specifications during execution.

• Ensure structural accuracy, engineering quality, and compliance with standards.

Government Project Execution

• Well-versed with Government Department working systems, procedures, and approvals.

• Experience working with PWD, CPWD, Smart City, Development Authorities, and Municipal Corporations.

• Ensure compliance with CPWD/PWD specifications, contractual terms, and quality standards.

• Coordinate with government engineers, officials, consultants, and inspection teams.

Site Execution & Supervision

• Lead and supervise all civil works including RCC, foundations, steel structures, stone work, and finishing.

• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, BOQ, and timelines.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and site challenges.

Team Management & Coordination

• Handle and lead site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and labor teams.

• Ensure strong coordination between site teams and head office.

• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, designers, and project management teams.

• Ensure proper communication, reporting, and workflow between all stakeholders.

Project Monitoring & Control

• Monitor project progress, timelines, and quality standards.

• Maintain site records, measurements, DPRs, and progress reports.

• Ensure timely completion of projects within approved scope and budget.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BE / B.Tech Civil)

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in civil engineering and project execution

• Strong experience in Government Projects

• Expert in reading BOQ, tender documents, and technical drawings

• Proven experience in team handling and site-office coordination

• Strong knowledge of CPWD / PWD standards
