Commis Chef

Job Title: Kitchen Assistant / Cook (Commis II & Commis III – Continental & Chinese)

Location: Rival Rebound Amusement & Entertainment Center

Salary: ₹14,000 – ₹19,000 per month (Based on experience & position)

Shift: 12 hours

Job Summary:We are hiring Kitchen Assistants / Commis II / Commis III (Continental & Chinese Cuisine) to support and manage daily kitchen operations at our café - Long stories. The candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing Continental and/or Chinese dishes and be comfortable working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

• Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook Continental and Chinese dishes as per standard recipes.
• Assist in mise en place (cutting, chopping, sauces, gravies, marination).
• Ensure quality, taste, and presentation standards are maintained.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards in the kitchen.
• Monitor stock levels and inform senior staff about shortages.
• Follow SOPs for food preparation and storage.
• Support senior chefs and coordinate with kitchen team members.
• Requirements:Minimum 1–3 years of experience as Commis II / Commis III or Kitchen Assistant.
• Experience in Continental and/or Chinese cuisine is mandatory.
• Knowledge of basic sauces, gravies, wok cooking, and fast-food preparation.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and under pressure.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Preferred:Experience in amusement parks, cafés, food courts, or QSR setups.
