About the Role

  1. We are seeking a highly motivated and target-driven Broadband Sales Executive to join the Airtel team in Lucknow. This role is critical for expanding our customer base by promoting and selling our high-speed fiber broadband services to residential and small business customers within the assigned geographical territory in Lucknow. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with exceptional communication, negotiation, and field-sales skills.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Target Achievement: Actively seek out and engage prospective customers in designated areas of Lucknow through direct sales, cold calling, door-to-door activities, and localized networking to achieve monthly sales targets for new broadband connections.
  2. Product Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of all Airtel broadband plans, product features, technical specifications, and current promotional offers, effectively communicating the value proposition to potential customers.
  3. Customer Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end sales process from lead generation, qualifying prospects, conducting on-field product demonstrations, to assisting customers with the subscription and documentation process.
  4. Market Intelligence: Provide regular feedback to the Sales Manager regarding market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs specific to the Lucknow region.
  5. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the company's CRM or reporting systems.
  6. Compliance: Ensure all sales practices adhere strictly to company policies and ethical guidelines.
  • Qualifications and RequirementsEducation: Minimum 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or a Graduate degree.
  • Experience: Previous experience (6 months to 2 years) in direct sales, field sales, or sales within the Telecom/FMCG/Financial Services sector is preferred. Freshers with a demonstrable aptitude for sales and a strong desire to learn may also apply.
  • Skills:Excellent verbal communication skills in Hindi and English (knowledge of local languages/dialects is a plus).
  • Strong negotiation, persuasive, and closing skills.
  • Goal-oriented, highly energetic, and resilient in a target-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on the field.
  • Must be comfortable with extensive daily travel within the assigned territory in Lucknow.
  • Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the geography and residential/commercial areas of Lucknow will be an advantage.
