Job Description

The Front Desk Executive is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for delivering a warm, professional, and seamless arrival and departure experience. This role ensures exceptional guest service, efficient front desk operations, and upholds the hotel’s standards of luxury hospitality.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesGuest ServiceWelcome guests with courtesy, professionalism, and a positive attitude
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
  • Address guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Ensure VIP and repeat guests receive personalized attention
  • Front Desk OperationsManage reservations, room allocations, and room status updates
  • Coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness
  • Maintain accurate guest records in the property management system (PMS)
  • Process payments, billing, and cash handling as per policy
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails professionally
  • CoordinationWork closely with housekeeping, concierge, F&B, and maintenance teams
  • Inform relevant departments about guest special requests
  • Support smooth communication between shifts
  • Standards & ComplianceFollow hotel SOPs and brand service standards
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information
  • Ensure the lobby/front desk area is neat and presentable
  • Follow safety, security, and emergency procedures
  • Required Skills & QualificationsGraduate in Hospitality / Hotel Management preferred
  • 1–3 years experience in hotel front office (luxury property preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-groomed with a professional appearance
  • Strong problem-solving ability and calm under pressure
  • Familiarity with hotel PMS (Opera, IDS, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email)
