Job Description

Job Title: Senior HR Generalist

Location: Lucknow

Experience Required: 5+ Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and self-driven Senior HR Generalist to manage end-to-end HR operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise across recruitment, payroll, compliance, employee engagement, performance management, and policy implementation.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • 1. Recruitment & OnboardingManage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviews, salary negotiation, and final selection.
  • Create Job Descriptions and ensure hiring within defined timelines.
  • Oversee onboarding, documentation, and induction programs.
  • 2. Payroll & HR Operations Process monthly payroll accurately.
  • Maintain attendance, leave records, and HRMIS.
  • Handle employee queries related to salary, leaves, or HR policies.
  • 3. Compliance & Labour Laws Manage PF, ESIC, Gratuity, and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Shops & Establishment Act and other labour laws.
  • Maintain mandatory registers and coordinate audits.
  • 4. Employee Engagement Plan and execute engagement activities, events, and communication programs.
  • Conduct skip-level meetings and employee satisfaction initiatives.
  • 5. Performance Management Implement and monitor the performance appraisal process.
  • Support managers with goal setting, KRAs, and performance reviews.
  • 6. Training & Development Identify training needs and coordinate learning sessions.
  • Maintain training calendars and evaluation reports.
  • 7. HR Policies & Documentation Develop and update HR policies, SOP, and employee handbook.
  • Maintain confidential employee records and HR dashboards.
  • 8. Exit Management Conduct exit interviews and maintain separation documentation.
  • Process full & final settlements and clearance.
  • Required Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on experience with HR software (HRMS, payroll tools, ATS).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-management skills.
  • Educational Qualification MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related field.
