Job Description

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead and manage all human resource functions across our growing group of businesses. The HR Manager will be responsible for building strong HR systems, improving employee performance, ensuring statutory compliance, and creating a positive workplace culture.

This role requires a hands-on professional who can work closely with business owners and department heads to align HR strategies with business goals.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Workforce PlanningManage end-to-end recruitment for all levels (operations, kitchen staff, sales, admin, supervisors, managers).
  • Design manpower planning and hiring strategies based on business growth.
  • Build relationships with consultants, local hiring sources, and training institutes.
  • HR Operations & AdministrationManage employee records, attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and documentation.
  • Implement and maintain HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook.
  • Handle onboarding and exit formalities.
  • Performance ManagementDesign and implement performance appraisal systems.
  • Set KPIs and performance tracking mechanisms.
  • Work with department heads to improve productivity and accountability.
  • Employee Relations & EngagementHandle employee grievances and disciplinary actions.
  • Improve employee engagement, motivation, and retention.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions and engagement activities.
  • Compliance & StatutoryEnsure compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, Shops & Establishment, Minimum Wages, CLRA, etc.).
  • Coordinate with consultants for audits and statutory filings.
  • Maintain documentation for inspections and legal requirements.
  • Training & DevelopmentIdentify training needs and organize internal/external training programs.
  • Develop induction and skill training modules.
  • Support leadership development for supervisors and managers.
  • Culture & HR StrategyBuild a performance-driven and disciplined work culture.
  • Align HR practices with business growth plans.
  • Act as a strategic partner to management on people-related matters.
  • Desired Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle blue-collar + white-collar workforce.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Experience in SME/startup environment preferred.
  • Qualifications MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent.
  • 4–8 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Experience in hospitality, QSR, manufacturing, or service industry is a plus.
