HVAC Engineer (BE / B.Tech – Mechanical)

Location: Lucknow

Experience: 2–5 Years 

About the Role

We are looking for an HVAC Design Engineer to join our MEP team. The candidate will be responsible for HVAC system design, load calculations, ducting layouts, BOQ preparation, and coordination with other services.

Key Responsibilities

•  Heat load calculations (using HAP or equivalent software)

•  HVAC system selection (VRF, Chiller, DX, AHU, FCU systems)

•  Duct sizing and static pressure calculations

•  Preparation of HVAC layout drawings in AutoCAD

•  Preparation of chilled water piping layouts and schematics

•  Equipment selection (AHU, Chiller, Pumps, Cooling Tower, VRF)

•  Ventilation and fresh air design as per NBC

•  Smoke extraction and basement ventilation design

•  BOQ preparation with technical specifications

•  Coordination with Electrical, Plumbing and Fire departments

Required Skills

•  BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

•  Proficiency in AutoCAD

•  Knowledge of HAP or similar load calculation software

•  Understanding of NBC 2016 (Part 8), ASHRAE basics

•  Basic knowledge of duct design, psychometric, and air distribution

Preferred Skills

•  Experience in hospital HVAC (OT, ICU, Isolation rooms)

•  Knowledge of smoke management systems

•  Understanding of energy efficiency norms and ECBC
