Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualization & Planning: Developing design strategies, creating mood boards, and sketching concepts for both building structure and interior spaces.
• Design Development: Producing detailed architectural drawings (floor plans, elevations) and integrating interior design elements (materials, lighting, furnishings) using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit.
• Client Coordination: Leading client meetings, understanding needs, presenting designs, and getting approvals.
• Project Management: Managing timelines, budgets, vendor negotiations, material sourcing, and BOQ (Bill of Quantities).
• Site Supervision: Conducting site visits to ensure construction and execution align with design specifications, resolving issues, and overseeing quality.
• Collaboration: Working with engineers, contractors, and other professionals for seamless execution.
• Compliance: Ensuring designs adhere to building codes, safety standards, and industry trends.

Core Skills & Tools

• Software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop).
• Expertise: Space planning, material knowledge, aesthetic detailing, understanding of building codes, sustainability practices.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, presentation, project management, problem-solving, and client-handling skills.
