Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Client and property management: Help clients buy, sell, or rent properties by understanding their needs and finding suitable options.
  • Marketing and sales: Market properties through online listings, advertisements, open houses, and other channels to attract buyers or renters.
  • Negotiation and closing: Present purchase offers, mediate negotiations between parties, and ensure all terms of a purchase agreement or lease are met.
  • Market analysis: Stay informed about current real estate market trends, property values, and competitive offerings.
  • Administrative and legal: Prepare necessary documents like purchase agreements, closing statements, and leases.
  • Property showings: Arrange and conduct property viewings for prospective buyers or renters. 

Skills and qualifications

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and other professionals.
  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills are critical for securing favorable terms for clients.
  • Sales experience: A background in sales, especially B2C sales, is often beneficial.
  • Local knowledge: Knowledge of the local real estate market is important.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with MS Office and social media is often preferred.
  • Flexibility: A flexible schedule is often required to accommodate client needs, including evenings and weekends.
  • Other: Some roles may require a valid driver's license and a basic understanding of the real estate industry.
