Job Summary:

Vallabhi Agro Services Private Limited is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented FMCG Sales Executive to spearhead our expansion efforts in Lucknow by establishing a robust network of Super Stockists for our range of premium MSJ spice products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding suitable Super Stockists, ensuring effective distribution, achieving sales targets, and building strong, long-term partnerships. This role requires a strong understanding of the FMCG distribution landscape, excellent negotiation skills, a proven track record in achieving sales objectives, a good grasp of AI-powered sales and marketing tools, and proficiency in utilizing CRM, RMS, and ERP software for efficient sales and business management.

Responsibilities:

  • Super Stockist Identification and Recruitment:Conduct thorough market research to identify potential Super Stockists in Lucknow and surrounding areas based on criteria such as financial stability, infrastructure, market reach, and experience in handling FMCG products.
  • Develop and implement strategies to approach and recruit potential Super Stockists.
  • Present the value proposition of partnering with Vallabhi Agro Services Private Limited and our MSJ spice products effectively.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of partnership agreements with prospective Super Stockists.
  • Ensure all onboarding processes are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Relationship Management and Business Development:Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with appointed Super Stockists.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Super Stockists, addressing their queries and concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with Super Stockists to develop and implement sales strategies to maximize product reach and sales volume.
  • Conduct regular physical and virtual meetings with potential and existing Super Stockists to build rapport, understand their needs, and present opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion within the assigned territory through the Super Stockist network.
  • Sales Target Achievement:Set and communicate clear sales targets and objectives to Super Stockists.
  • Monitor Super Stockist performance against agreed targets and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Manager.
  • Ensure timely order placement and efficient supply chain management through the Super Stockist network.
  • Lead Conversion and Follow-ups:Effectively convert identified leads (potential Super Stockists) into successful partnerships.
  • Implement a systematic follow-up process to nurture leads and address any concerns or questions.
  • Sales Strategy and Product Insights:Contribute to the development and implementation of effective sales strategies for the MSJ spice product portfolio within the Lucknow region.
  • Provide feedback on product performance, market demand, and suggest product improvements based on interactions with Super Stockists and market observations.
  • Competitor Insights:Continuously monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and product offerings in the spice market.
  • Provide valuable insights on competitor strategies to the Sales Manager to inform our own sales approaches.
  • Customer Success (Super Stockist Focus):Ensure the success of Super Stockists by providing ongoing support, training, and resources to help them effectively distribute and sell our MSJ products.
  • Address any challenges faced by Super Stockists and work collaboratively to find solutions.
  • Market Intelligence and Reporting:Gather and analyze market intelligence regarding competitor activities, pricing, and consumer trends in the spice market.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Sales Manager on market conditions and opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on Super Stockist performance, sales achievements, and market insights.
  • Utilize AI-powered tools for market analysis, lead generation, and sales forecasting to improve decision-making.
  • Brand Promotion and Merchandising:Work with Super Stockists to ensure effective visibility and promotion of our MSJ spice products at their locations.
  • Implement merchandising guidelines and ensure adherence to brand standards.
  • Organize and participate in promotional activities and trade events as required.
  • Leverage AI tools for targeted marketing campaigns and personalized communication with potential and existing Super Stockists.
  • Compliance and Documentation:Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of Super Stockist agreements, sales activities, and other relevant information.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage Super Stockist interactions, track progress, and maintain organized records.
  • Leverage RMS (Retail Management System) data to understand sales trends, inventory levels at Super Stockist points, and optimize distribution.
  • Utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems for accessing relevant information related to inventory, pricing, and order management to support Super Stockist operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in FMCG sales, with a proven track record of establishing and managing distributors/Super Stockists, preferably in the food industry (spice experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of the FMCG distribution network and sales processes in the Lucknow region.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners. 
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in Hindi and English. Knowledge of local dialects is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle are preferred.
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of AI-powered sales and marketing tools such as CRM with AI capabilities, sales intelligence platforms, marketing automation software, and lead scoring systems.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new AI tools and technologies quickly.
  • Understanding of how AI can be leveraged to optimize sales processes, improve customer engagement, and generate insights.
  • Proven experience and proficiency in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software for sales management and customer interaction tracking.
  • Familiarity with RMS (Retail Management System) and its application in managing retail sales and inventory.
  • Working knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and their role in integrating various business processes, including sales and distribution.
  • Ability to analyze data from CRM, RMS, and ERP systems to gain insights and make informed decisions.
