Job Description

About the RoleWe are looking for an energetic and persuasive Telecaller to join our solar sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reaching out to potential customers (both B2C households and B2B commercial/industrial clients), explaining the benefits of solar solutions, generating qualified leads, and coordinating with the field sales team.

  • Key Responsibilities For B2C (Residential Solar):
  • Make outbound calls to homeowners to generate interest in solar panel installations.
  • Clearly explain solar benefits such as cost savings, ROI, net-metering, subsidies, and warranty details.
  • Understand customer energy usage requirements and schedule site visits.
  • Maintain a customer database and follow up to ensure conversion.
  • Handle basic objections and provide accurate information about products and services.


  • For B2B (Commercial & Industrial Solar):


  • Contact business owners, facility managers, and procurement heads for solar project discussions.
  • Explain technical and financial advantages tailored for commercial clients (CAPEX, OPEX/RESCO models, payback period, government policies, etc.).
  • Qualify leads based on load requirements, roof/land availability, and budget.
  • Schedule meetings or technical discussions for the business development team.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions and follow-up actions in CRM tools.


  • General Responsibilities (Both B2C & B2B)


  • Achieve daily/weekly/monthly call and lead-generation targets.
  • Provide excellent customer experience and maintain professionalism in all communication.
  • Share customer feedback with the team to improve sales and communication strategies.
  • Participate in training to enhance knowledge of solar products and market trends.
  • Support the sales team with appointment setting, follow-ups, and lead nurturing.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 1–3 years of telecalling or inside sales experience (solar industry preferred).
  • Strong communication skills in English and local languages.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Comfortable with outbound calling and handling objections.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM tools, Excel, and sales reporting.
  • Positive attitude, persistence, and goal-oriented mindset.


  • Preferred Qualifications Experience in solar sales (residential or commercial).


  • Understanding of solar policies, subsidies, and financing options.
  • Ability to identify decision-makers in a B2B environment.
