Job Title: Admission & Child Well-being Counsellor

Location: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

Reports to: Center Head / School Director

1. Job Purpose

To be the face of the school for prospective parents, managing the end-to-end admission process while ensuring a supportive emotional environment for students. The role involves converting inquiries into admissions and providing early-stage developmental guidance to parents and children. 

2. Key Responsibilities

• Admission Management:
• Handle inbound and outbound inquiries (calls, emails, and walk-ins).
• Conduct personalized school tours for parents, explaining the curriculum (e.g., Montessori/Play-way) and facilities.
• Maintain an active database of leads and follow up systematically to meet enrollment targets.
• Parent Relationship & Guidance:
• Act as a bridge between the home and school, providing regular updates on a child’s progress.
• Counsel parents on early childhood milestones, separation anxiety, and school readiness.
• Student Support (Early Identification):
• Observe children during play to identify early signs of developmental delays or social-emotional struggles.
• Conduct orientation sessions for new students to help them adapt to the school environment.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Manage student records, admission documentation, and fee collections.

3. Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Graduate in any stream; however, a degree in Psychology, Sociology, or Education is highly preferred.
• Certification: A PG Diploma in School Counselling or Early Childhood Education (ECE) is an added advantage.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in educational sales, admissions, or child counselling.
• Skills:
• Communication: Fluent in English and Hindi (essential for the Lucknow market).
• Soft Skills: High empathy, patience, active listening, and a warm, approachable personality.
• Tech Savvy: Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office for record-keeping
