Site Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor on-site construction activities
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and BOQs
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams
• Plan daily work schedules and allocate resources effectively
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site safety practices
• Resolve technical issues and provide on-site engineering solutions
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation
• Measure quantities and assist in billing and material reconciliation
• Liaise with project managers, architects, and consultants
• Monitor material usage and prevent wastage
• Ensure project milestones are achieved within deadlines
• Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of civil construction methods and materials
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents
• Good site management and coordination skills
• Basic knowledge of surveying and leveling
• Familiarity with quality control and safety standards
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Good communication and teamwork skills
