Job Title: Staff Nurse

Job Summary:The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:·        Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social needs.

·        Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

·        Monitor patient conditions and report any changes promptly.

·        Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

·        Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and treatments.

·        Provide post-operative care and patient education on recovery and medication.

·        Maintain infection control practices and adhere to safety protocols.

·        Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.

·        Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.

·        Educate patients and families about ongoing health needs and conditions.

·        Participate in staff training, workshops, and performance improvement initiatives.

·        Maintain professional behavior and uphold the ethical standards of the nursing profession.

Requirements:·        Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (GNM or B.Sc. Nursing)

·        Licensure: Valid nursing license from [relevant nursing council]

·        Experience: [0-2 years] of relevant clinical experience preferred

·        Skills:

o   Strong clinical and critical thinking skills

o   Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

o   Proficiency in patient documentation and use of hospital systems

o   Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage time effectively

Work Conditions:·        Shift-based duties including nights, weekends, and holidays
