Job Description

Team Leader manages and motivates a team of phone-based sales reps to hit targets by coaching, developing strategies, monitoring performance via CRM/data, handling escalations, and ensuring excellent customer service, blending direct sales duties with strong leadership, coaching, and analytical skills to drive revenue and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Train, coach, mentor, and motivate telesales executive to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Performance Management: Set targets, monitor KPIs, analyze sales metrics, and provide feedback for skill improvement and corrective actions.
  • Strategy & Operations: Develop sales scripts, implement strategies, manage daily operations, and ensure adherence to policies.
  • Customer & Escalations: Handle complex customer complaints, provide solutions, and ensure high-quality service.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present performance reports to senior management

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Leadership: Strong people management, motivation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Technical: Proficiency in CRM software (like Salesforce/ERP next) and MS Office.
  • Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of sales principles, upselling, and cross-selling techniques.
  • Analytical: Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Soft Skills: Multitasking, time management, problem-solving, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience: Proven telesales and leadership experience (often a Bachelor's degree is preferred).
