With its elegant and trendy collection, RELIABLE is one stop shop for all institutions looking forward to build their identity. Job Purpose:The Merchant will be responsible for coordinating between customers, design, production, and billing teams to ensure seamless order execution—from sample development to final delivery. The role requires expertise in costing, fabric/garment knowledge, order follow-up, and maintaining accurate documentation.Responsibilities:1. Product Development & Design CoordinationPrepare Design Sheets / Tech Packs for garments with complete specifications.Coordinate with design team, sampling unit, and production for approvals.Ensure all trims, fabrics, accessories, and detailing are correct before production.2. Order Management & DocumentationPrepare and maintain Sales Orders, Job Orders, and Purchase Orders.Verify order details, delivery timelines, customer requirements, and costing.Maintain proper documentation for all customer orders.3. Vendor & Internal CoordinationCoordinate with fabric department, dyeing, stitching, printing, and finishing teams.Follow up with vendors for timely fabric, trims, and accessory supply.Ensure smooth workflow from order placement to dispatch.4. Costing & Production PlanningPrepare cost sheets for garments and ensure price accuracy.Forecast material requirements based on order quantity.Plan production timelines and track order progress daily.5. Billing & Dispatch Follow-UpCoordinate with the billing team for invoice preparation.Ensure correctness of purchase challans, sale invoices, and dispatch documents.Track deliveries and ensure customers receive timely updates.6. Customer Interaction & Relationship ManagementShare order status, samples, and approvals with customers.Maintain professional communication and resolve issues promptly.Build long-term relationships with schools, corporates, and institutions.7. Data Entry & Sheet ManagementMaintain tracking sheets in Google Sheets and Excel.Update WIP data, dispatch schedules, and production tracking sheets.Ensure all entries are accurate and updated daily.Requisite Skills:Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing (fabric, stitching, trims).Expertise in Tech Pack preparation, costing, and order documentation.Strong follow-up and coordination skills.Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and documentation tools.Excellent communication (written & verbal).Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.Desired Skills:Commercial awareness and negotiation skills.Understanding of timelines, production workflows, and customer needs.Experience in school uniform merchandising is a plus.Education:B.Com / BBA / Diploma in Fashion Technology / B.Sc Fashion Design / Textile degreeRelevant Experience:2-4 years CTC per annum:1.8 LPA-2.4 LPATotal Experience:2 years Will travel?NoMonthly Net Salary:15K-20K PMPreferred Domain:Customer Relations / Commerce Reference Companies:Gender:Male/FemaleMarital Status:Unmarried/MarriedPrepared By:Anushka AnupriyaDate17/06/2024Approved By:Vikas KumarDate
