Quality Inspector

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify the quality of menswear garments at different stages of production (cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing).
• Check measurements, fitting, stitching accuracy, fabric quality, trims, print/embroidery, and overall garment appearance.
• Identify defects (loose threads, stains, measurement issues, seam errors, shade variation, etc.) and report them to the concerned team.
• Ensure products meet brand and internal quality standards before dispatch.
• Maintain quality check reports and record defect analysis daily.
• Coordinate with production teams to improve quality and reduce rejection rates.
• Approve or reject finished garments based on inspection results.
• Monitor packing quality, labeling, and size assortment accuracy.
• Ensure AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) guidelines are followed.
• Support in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring defects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in garment quality checking, preferably in menswear.
• Good knowledge of menswear construction, sizing, measurements, and fabric behavior.
• Ability to detect defects quickly and accurately.
• Understanding of AQL, QA processes, and inspection tools (measuring tape, templates, etc.).
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets for reporting is a plus.
