Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting & Taxation Executive with strong command over Tally software and thorough knowledge of accounting principles, journal entries, and taxation. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, statutory compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting in Tally (latest versions)

• Pass and review all types of accounting and journal entries (sales, purchase, expenses, provisions, depreciation, etc.)

• Prepare and finalize Books of Accounts

• Handle GST compliance including returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation)

• Prepare TDS workings and returns

• Assist in income tax computations and filings

• Manage bank reconciliation statements (BRS)

• Maintain ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documents

• Assist in statutory audits and internal audits

• Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards and tax laws

• Coordinate with CA, tax consultants, and banks

• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Tally software

• Sound knowledge of accounting concepts and journal entries

• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax

• Ability to independently handle accounts

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Good knowledge of MS Excel

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education & Experience:

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / Equivalent

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation

• Experience in manufacturing or trading industry (preferred)

• Ability to handle multiple entities and group companies

• Good communication and documentation skills
