Job Description

Customer / Order Acquisition ● Seeking new customers from external sources including references from existing customers. ● Following up on leads received from Sales Manager & other internal sources. ● Building an order pipeline to meet/exceed planned revenue targets. ● Acquiring orders from customers & communicating the same to CRM for timely fulfillment. ● Co-ordinating New Projects: o Obtaining complete information about the Clients’ requirements and communicating the same to R & D Executive. o Co-ordinating with the R & D Executive, Sales Manager and Customer to ensure trials are done on schedule. o Working with Clients & R & D Executive to promptly resolve issues and obtain Customer approval. Order Fulfilment ● Following up with CRM team for order fulfillment. ● Monitoring the order fulfilment process to ensure timely delivery & invoicing. Receivable Management ● Co-ordinating delivery of invoice to Customers. ● Following up with Customers for timely payment of receivables. Customer Engagement ● Conducting Daily Sales Visits / Calls to maintain constant contact with Customers and understand their requirements, expectations & concerns. ● Reporting Customer feedback to Manager Sales and following through to ensure timely resolution of queries, issues & concerns. Other tasks ● Timely Reporting of Sales / Revenue Data – submitting the Daily Sales Report in a timely manner. ● Updating Sales Presentations to ensure that accurate & latest information used is communicated to clients. Qualifications & Experience: ● B. Sc. Chemistry. Preference will be given to B Tech / Diploma in Chemical Engineering or M Sc Chemistry or MBA ● 2-4 years of Sales experience in the Chemical industry or any other Industry. ● Experience of Speciality Chemicals sales will be an advantage.
