HR Manager

Role Overview

The HR Manager will be responsible for building, structuring, and managing the entire human resources function. The role requires establishing systems, ensuring discipline, improving accountability, and driving a professional, performance-oriented culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

• Develop and execute hiring plans aligned with business growth
• Manage end-to-end recruitment (JD creation, sourcing, interviews, onboarding)
• Build a strong talent pipeline for technical and commercial roles
• Ensure timely hiring with quality benchmarks

2. HR Systems & Process Implementation

• Establish HR policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks
• Implement structured processes for attendance, leave, payroll, and reimbursements
• Introduce performance tracking systems (KPIs, KRAs)
• Digitize HR operations where required

3. Performance Management & Accountability

• Design and implement performance appraisal systems
• Ensure accountability across departments through measurable metrics
• Drive a culture of ownership and responsibility
• Handle underperformance with structured improvement plans

4. Employee Engagement & Culture Building

• Develop a disciplined, corporate work culture (moving beyond family-run setup)
• Address employee concerns and maintain a healthy work environment
• Conduct regular feedback sessions and engagement initiatives
• Align employees with company vision and goals

5. Training & Development

• Identify skill gaps and organize training programs
• Focus on technical and behavioral training
• Develop leadership pipeline within the organization
• Support onboarding and continuous learning initiatives

6. Compliance & Administration

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements
• Manage documentation, contracts, and HR records
• Oversee payroll coordination and benefits administration
• Handle disciplinary actions and grievance management

7. Strategic HR Contribution

• Act as a bridge between management and employees
• Support leadership in organizational restructuring and scaling
• Provide data-driven HR insights for decision-making

Key Requirements

Education

• MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent

Experience

• 5–10 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing / engineering / industrial environment
• Experience in setting up HR systems from scratch is highly preferred
