Job Description
- Identify and approve vendors/suppliers for consumables items and raw materials (Copper, SS, etc.).
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure vendors provide exactly what the production team requires.
- Negotiate with suppliers to get the best possible pricing without compromising on quality or delivery timelines.
- Raise and track Purchase Orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to the shop floor.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Coordinate with the stores and maintenance departments to prevent "stock-outs" of critical components.
- Assist with new developments to identify vendors
