Job Description

Visit vendor sites to assess product quality, capacity, and compliance.
Source and evaluate new vendors/suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery time, and reliability.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand material requirements.
Raise purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Maintain and update procurement records and vendor databases.
Follow up on delivery schedules, shortages, and backorders.
Ensure materials comply with quality standards before accepting delivery.
Resolve any issues related to vendor performance, pricing, or quality.
