Job Description
- Identify and develop reliable suppliers for fabrics, trims, packaging materials, and accessories.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate the best deals with vendors.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials as per production schedules.
- Coordinate closely with the merchandising, sampling, and production teams to meet order timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, delivery schedules, and supplier details.
- Track inventory levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
- Follow up on pending deliveries and ensure quality checks upon receipt.
- Evaluate vendor performance and assist in building long-term supplier relationships.
- Manage import materials (if applicable) and coordinate with logistics teams for smooth dispatch.
