Sales Engineer - Air Compressors / Capital Goods

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our air compressors and other capital goods to clients across various industries. Your technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and ability to build strong client relationships will be critical to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our air compressors and capital goods, including technical specifications, features, and benefits.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Client Engagement: Identify potential clients, build relationships, and understand their needs. Present product solutions tailored to their requirements.
  • Technical Consultation: Provide technical guidance to clients, addressing questions and concerns related to air compressors and capital equipment.
  • Quotations and Proposals: Prepare accurate and competitive quotations and proposals for clients.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and customer support teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Travel: Travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in air compressors or capital goods.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of air compressor systems, mechanical engineering principles, and industrial equipment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Results-Oriented: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to address technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with cross-functional teams.
