Job Title: Sales Officer – Snacks (FMCG)

Key Responsibilities

Distributor Management & Appointment

• Appoint, onboard, and manage distributors as per company expansion plans
• Ensure distributor ROI, billing discipline, and healthy stock rotation
• Drive secondary sales through distributors to achieve monthly targets

Market Execution & Business Development

• Develop new markets, outlets, and routes for snacks distribution
• Expand numeric and weighted distribution across GT / MT / institutions
• Ensure availability, visibility, and correct pricing of products

Team Management

• Manage and motivate field sales executives and promoters
• Plan beat routes, daily targets, and market priorities
• Review performance, give feedback, and ensure on-ground execution

Sampling & Activation

• Plan and execute product sampling in key markets and outlets
• Coordinate demos, tastings, and local activations to drive trials
• Capture market feedback and share insights with the HO team

Competition Tracking & Market Intelligence

• Track competitor pricing, schemes, launches, and visibility
• Report market trends, consumer preferences, and retailer feedback
• Suggest tactical actions to counter competition

Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
• Coordinate with supply chain, marketing, and finance teams
• Ensure smooth order processing and timely collections

Desired Profile

• 4–5 years of FMCG sales experience (snacks/food preferred)
• Strong distributor handling and market execution skills
• Willingness to travel extensively and work on the field
• Self-driven, result-oriented, and execution-focused
