Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeping & Recordkeeping: Manage daily entries, categorization of transactions, and ensure accurate documentation of bank statements, credit card receipts, and business records

Financial Statements & Analysis: Generate and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss (P&L), balance sheets, and cash flow reports. They provide actionable insights based on these analyses to optimize business decisions

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, reconcile vendor statements, monitor accounts receivable, and follow up on outstanding payments

Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and flagging discrepancies.

Inventory Tracking: Monitor and record inventory transactions, track discrepancies, and coordinate with logistics, utilizing tech tools and dashboards to manage stock

Sales Tax & Compliance: Ensure accurate sales tax collection, filing, and reporting, including multi-state or international sales tax regulations special to e-commerce

System Integration: Integrate and manage accounting software with e-commerce platforms, consolidating data from all online sales channels for effective reporting and analysis.

Expense Management: Handle payroll, enter business expenses, and prepare employee reimbursements.

Audit & Internal Controls: Support internal and external audits, maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies, and document all processes for accountabilit.

Financial Planning & Budgeting: Assist in budget preparation, forecast cash flows, and perform variance analysis to support business growth strategies
