Store Keeper

Material Management:

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming MEP and Fire materials as per delivery challan or purchase order.
• Ensure proper storage of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire-fighting materials to prevent damage or loss.

Stock Maintenance:

• Maintain updated stock registers (manual or digital) with accurate entries for receipts and issues.
• Conduct periodic physical verification of stock and report discrepancies to the project manager or accounts department.

Issue Control:

• Issue materials to site engineers, supervisors, and foremen against approved material requisition slips.
• Ensure materials are issued as per project requirements and control wastage.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly material reports for management.
• Coordinate with procurement and accounts teams for material receipts, returns, and reconciliation.

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow proper safety procedures for storage and handling of materials (especially cables, pipes, fittings, and fire equipment).
• Ensure the store area is organized, labeled, and accessible.

Coordination:

• Work closely with the site in-charge, purchase team, and project engineers for material planning and timely availability.
• Maintain records for tools and equipment issued to site teams.

Audit & Control:

• Assist during internal or external material audits.
• Ensure proper documentation for returned, damaged, or excess materials.
