Senior Accountant

Role & responsibilities

Maintain complete books of accounts (Day-to-day accounting)

• Finalisation of accounts P&L, Balance Sheet
• GST compliance GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Reconciliation
• TDS compliance Calculation, Returns & 26Q/24Q filing
• Income Tax workings & coordination for filing
• Bank reconciliation & cash flow management
• Ledger scrutiny and error correction
• Handling audits Statutory / Internal / Tax
• Inventory accounting (Jewellery / Gold / Silver preferred)
• Vendor, customer & inter-company reconciliation
• Coordination with CA, auditors & consultants
• MIS reports to management (monthly / quarterly)

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Accounting principles
• GST, TDS, Income Tax practical exposure
• Tally Prime / ERP (mandatory)
• MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, basic formulas)
• Good understanding of compliance & documentation
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 2 years Experience in Jewellery / NBFC / Finance industry is an advantage
• Stable career background
• Good communication & coordination skills
