Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure Management
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtual machines, and storage systems.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other core infrastructure services.
- Administer virtualization platforms.
- Maintain cloud resources including compute, storage, and identity services.
2. Network Administration
- Configure and monitor routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Ensure secure and reliable LAN/WAN operations.
3. Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain OS patches, security updates, and system hardening.
- Manage endpoint protection, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management tools.
- Enforce data security, access control, and compliance policies (ISO, SOC2, GDPR, etc.).
4. Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Develop and maintain backup schedules, monitoring, and restoration procedures.
- Maintain disaster recovery plans and participate in periodic DR drills.
5. Monitoring & Performance Optimization
- Monitor system logs, resource utilization, and application performance.
- Proactively diagnose issues and implement preventive maintenance.
6. Technical Support & Documentation
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for system, network, and server issues.
- Maintain complete documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and processes.
- Assist in IT project planning and execution.
