Cashier

Billing & Transactions:

• Prepare accurate bills for gold, diamond, silver, and other jewellery items
• Handle cash, card, UPI, NEFT/RTGS, and cheque payments
• Verify metal weight, wastage, making charges, GST, and discounts before billing
• Issue proper invoices and receipts to customers

Cash & Account :

• HandlingMaintain daily cash balance and reconcile with system reports
• Prepare daily cash, card, and online payment reports
• Coordinate with accounts team for day-end closing
• Ensure safe custody of cash and cheque instruments

Customer Support:

• Assist customers with billing-related queries politely and professionally
• Explain payment breakup, schemes, and exchange adjustments clearly
• Support sales staff during peak hours for smooth customer flow

Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain records of sales invoices, returns, exchanges, and advances
• Follow company SOPs, audit guidelines, and statutory requirements
• Support internal and external audits when required

Scheme & Advance Handling:

• Manage gold saving schemes, advance receipts, and redemption billing
• Update scheme payments accurately in the system
