Room Attendant

Job Summary:A Room Boy is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms and hotel premises to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay for guests.

• Key Responsibilities:Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas as per hotel standards
• Change bed linens, towels, and replenish room supplies (toiletries, water, etc.)
• Ensure rooms are properly arranged and fully stocked
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
• Handle guest requests promptly and politely
• Ensure proper use and care of cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, service areas, and linen rooms
• Follow hotel safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Assist in laundry operations if required
• Skills & Requirements:Basic knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Qualifications:Minimum: 8th / 10th pass
• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping preferred but not mandatory
• Working Conditions:Flexible shifts (morning, evening, night)
• Standing for long hours
• Handling cleaning tools and chemicals
