Job Description

Streamlining entire gamut of HR activities covering Policies & Procedure formulation, Its Implementation, Manpower planning, Recruitment, Selection, induction, Training and Development, Wage & salary Administration, industrial relations, Grievance Handling, disciplines, welfare schemes etc. to build and retain committed workforce.  Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; Developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; Analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results.

 Set up and managed an ESIC Dispensary on a public-private partnership under mEUD Scheme and implemented the Fair-Trade Program in two factories.

 Controlling the whole HRD & personal Law matters like P.F, ESI, Factory Act, Bonus Act, Contact Labour, Industrial disputes Act, Pollution control laws, Boiler Act, Indian Explosive Act, and other statutory legislations applicable to a major hazardous factory.

 Develops a system to consistently review and execution of the company's human resource practices, systems, and personnel-related activities by auditing human resources practices.

 Formation of committees required under different legislations and other requirements like workers committee, grievance committee, canteen committee, sexual Harassment committee, ICC, Fair Trade Committee, SPT Committee, and arranging trainings and guiding them to manage it effectively;

 Arranging different training programs across diverse functional disciplines periodically for keeping the skill level of the employees up to date as per the requirement and implemented the induction programs thereof through our Global as well as local on boarding programs.

 Managing the Environmental & Social Governance ( ESG ) Goals in a sustainable manner and working on continuous improvement plans in association with the buyer and the management.

 Identify and structure the employee’s compensation and benefit programs from time to time.

 Monitoring the whole gamut of HR functions ranging from recruitment to retirement including final settlement of employees of multiple verticals of business of the Company and process the transitional level.

 Formulation and implementation of the long-term HR policies and SOPs centered upon employee’s career development and innovative compensation structure to prolong retention of key performers.

 Submission of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports (MIS) related to employee, their benefits, safety, statutory compliances and other issues to the Global team.

 Providing awareness to both local and global management team of the change in the statutory rules and regulations related to the employees.

 Looking after third-party buyer audits, certification audits and other social, ethical and environmental audits to cater the needs of the buyer;

 Liaising with all government departments like Labour depts., boiler, explosive, pollution,. and other govt. departments relating to licensing, approvals, returns under various labour laws etc.

 Handling the grievances of employees on a regular basis as well as the grievances raised in the town Hall meetings by the employees;

 Dealing with the hiring of security personnel, housekeeping and contact labour etc.

 Wage & salary administration of all four units in India & Vietnam of more than 3000 employees and in the current employment for more than 12000 employees;

 Dealing with different insurance agencies for employee benefits of the group like Group Gratuity scheme, Mediclaim, Personal accident etc.
