Solar Site Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Solar Site Engineer to oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power projects. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in solar systems, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the capability to manage on-site activities efficiently.

• Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage daily on-site activities for solar PV installations.
• Ensure installation is carried out as per design, technical standards, and safety guidelines.
• Conduct site assessments and surveys for solar projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and project managers to ensure smooth execution.
• Perform testing, commissioning, and performance checks of solar PV systems.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.
• Ensure quality control of materials, equipment, and installation work.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to solar modules, inverters, cabling, and structures.
• Verify and maintain site documentation including drawings, BOQ, checklists, and reports.
• Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards on-site.
• Manage site inventory and ensure timely availability of materials.
• Qualifications & Requirements: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or relevant Engineering field.
• 1–5 years of experience in solar PV installation, commissioning, or site supervision (customizable).
• Strong understanding of solar PV components, inverters, DC/AC wiring, and installation procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and industry standards for solar installations.
• Good communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, PVsyst, or similar software is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
