Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Data Center Engineer to manage day-to-day operations, maintenance, and monitoring of critical infrastructure in a data center environment. The role involves ensuring high availability, safety, and reliability of electrical and mechanical systems while complying with standard operating procedures and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Center Operations

•Monitor and operate data center critical infrastructure on a 24x7 basis

•Ensure uptime and availability of all critical systems

•Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance as per SOPs

Electrical Systems

•Operation and maintenance of HT/LT panels, DG sets, UPS, transformers, PDUs, and battery banks

•Perform DG A, B, C & D checks and manage fuel systems

•Coordinate electrical switching activities safely

Mechanical & HVAC Systems

•Monitor and maintain HVAC, precision ACs, chillers, pumps, AHUs, and ventilation systems

•Ensure temperature and humidity are maintained as per data center standards

Monitoring & BMS

•Monitor alarms and parameters through BMS/DCIM systems

•Identify faults, analyze root causes, and take corrective actions

Incident & Vendor Management

•Handle incidents, breakdowns, and emergency situations

•Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for AMC and breakdown support

•Prepare incident reports and root cause analysis (RCA)

Documentation & Compliance

•Maintain logs, checklists, and shift handover reports

•Ensure compliance with safety norms, ISO standards, and client SLAs

•Support audits and inspections
