Job Title: Fleet Maintenance Supervisor (Car Carrier)

Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our fleet. The ideal candidate will ensure minimal downtime, adherence to safety standards, and cost-effective upkeep of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

 Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of trucks and other fleet vehicles.

 Coordinate with mechanics, drivers, and external workshops for repairs.

 Monitor vehicle performance and ensure compliance with safety and emission standards.

 Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and costs.

 Implement maintenance policies to extend vehicle life and reduce breakdowns.

 Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues.

 Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (RTO, PUC, Insurance, etc.).

 Prepare maintenance reports for management review.

 Train and guide the maintenance team to follow SOPs.

Requirements:

 Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

 3–5 years of experience in fleet maintenance, preferably in the logistics/transportation industry.

 Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle engines, transmission systems, and electricals.

 Ability to handle a team and coordinate with multiple departments.

 Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.

 Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
