Position: Sr. Operator – SMT Line

Level: L3

Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B. Tech (Electronics or related)

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 CTC per month

Experience: Relevant SMT line operation experience preferred

Job Summary

The Sr. Operator – SMT Line is responsible for operating and monitoring SMT machines to ensure smooth production, quality output, and adherence to ESD and safety standards. The role requires hands-on expertise in SMT equipment and daily line checks.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Panasonic SMT Solder Paste Printer and ensure proper paste application.
• Operate Koh Young SPI machine and verify solder paste inspection results.
• Operate Panasonic NPM SMT Mounter and monitor placement accuracy.
• Set, verify, and monitor JT Reflow Oven profiles as per process requirements.
• Perform daily SMT line start-up checks and ensure machines are running as per standards.
• Monitor process parameters and report abnormalities, defects, or machine issues.
• Ensure compliance with ESD guidelines, process discipline, and safety norms.
• Support line changeovers, basic troubleshooting, and minor adjustments.
• Maintain production records and machine logs as required.
• Coordinate with Shift Incharge, Quality, and Maintenance teams.

Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on experience with SMT machine operation
• Knowledge of solder paste inspection and reflow profiling
• Good understanding of SMT process flow and daily checks
• Strong awareness of ESD control and shop floor discipline
• Ability to work independently and in shift operations

Shift Incharge / Production Supervisor
