Technical Engineer

POSITION: TECHNICAL/ JUNIOR TECHNICAL ENGINEER

Broad Function

We are seeking a skilled Technical/ Junior Technical Engineer with a minimum of 2+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the ATM (Automated Teller Machine) or Ticket Kiosk industries, with a strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems, diagnostics, and field servicing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·        Install and maintain locker hardware devices globally, along with the configuration of new software & hardware.

·        Handling all duties from installation to upkeep of electronic devices.

·        Upgrade system software & Hardware with new releases & models.

·        Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites.

·        Ensure that the network infrastructure is up and running.

·        Analysing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.

·        Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for timely issue resolution.

·        Must know about operating Excel for managing documentation of service calls, daily reports, monthly reports, maintenance logs, and equipment history.

·        Candidates should have good communication skills to provide technical support to international clients.

·        Support engineering development and testing for new features or upgrades.

·        Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.

Desired Experience Required:

·        Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science and Information Technology (or equivalent technical discipline).

·        1+ years of relevant experience in the ATM, or similar industries.

·        Strong knowledge of ATM components, bill validators, cash dispensers, card readers, and related hardware.

·        Basic understanding of embedded systems, firmware updates, and troubleshooting tools.

·        Experience with NCR, Diebold, GRG, or Wincor Nixdorf ATMs.

·        Familiarity with cash recycling machines, deposit modules, and kiosk solutions.

·        Good communication and customer service skills.

·        Ability to work independently and travel for on-site support.
