About Groviews Technologies
Groviews Technologies is a Ratan Tata Innovation Hub incubated startup building AI-powered products across multiple verticals — IMPREVIEW (AI business strategy toolkit), GROVIEWS (customer experience platform), Bringjal (IoT-based water delivery), and cutting-edge GovTech projects in Machine Learning and Agentic AI. We operate from Amaravati and Bangalore, building for a global market.
About the Role
We're looking for a Creative Designer & Video Editor, one person who can do both, and do both well. Not a specialist who only touches one tool. Not someone who needs a brief document for every task. We need the kind of creative who can open Photoshop in the morning to design a pitch deck, switch to Premiere Pro after lunch to cut a product demo, create Instagram carousels before evening, and finish the day editing a founder's thought leadership reel, all while keeping every asset on-brand, on-time, and scroll-stopping.
This is a combined role because in a startup, the creative function doesn't come in neat boxes. Design and video are deeply intertwined, the person who designs the brand system should also be the person who brings it to life in motion.
The person who creates the social media templates should also be cutting the reels. That integration is what makes content feel cohesive, and that's exactly what we need.
You'll work directly with the founding team and coordinate with the marketing lead, content writers, and external vendors.
Your work will be the visual face of every Groviews brand, across social media, websites, ads, pitch decks, product interfaces, GovTech presentations, YouTube, and everything in between.

What You'll Do
Your work will span graphic design, video editing, brand building, and creative production, often within the same day.
On the graphic design side,
- you will design social media creatives, posts, carousels, stories, reels covers, and ad creatives across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube for all Groviews brands.
- You will create marketing collateral, brochures, flyers, email templates, landing page visuals, banner ads, and promotional graphics.
- You will design pitch decks, investor presentations, and business proposal documents that look world-class.
- You will build and maintain brand identity systems, logo usage, color palettes, typography guidelines, and design templates across all products.
- You will design GovTech presentation decks and demo visuals for government meetings and hackathons.
- You will create product-related design assets, UI mockups, onboarding screens, feature explainer graphics, and in-app visuals when needed.
- You will design thumbnails, blog covers, packaging elements (especially for Bringjal), and any offline collateral required.
On the video editing side,
- you will edit and produce marketing videos, product demos, explainer videos, social media reels, YouTube content, and promotional material across all brands.
- You will work with raw footage, screen recordings, stock assets, motion graphics templates, and AI-generated visuals to create polished final outputs.
- You will edit content for multiple formats and platforms, understanding what works on Instagram Reels vs YouTube vs LinkedIn vs website embeds.
- You will handle color correction, audio syncing, sound design, background music selection, subtitle and caption generation, and basic motion graphics.
- You will create title cards, lower thirds, graphic overlays, intro/outro templates, and animated elements that bridge your design and video skills.
- You will produce video content for GovTech project presentations and demos when required.
- You will occasionally shoot raw footage using a smartphone or basic equipment when professional shooting isn't available.
On the cross-functional side,
- you will manage multiple design and video requests simultaneously, prioritize based on business impact, and deliver with fast turnarounds.
- You will maintain organized project files, asset libraries, and brand-consistent templates that the broader team can use.
- You will take rough briefs, verbal ideas, or even a reference image and turn them into finished visual or video assets without needing detailed specifications every time.
Software & Tools Required
- Adobe Premiere Pro, strong proficiency required. This is your primary video editing tool. You should be comfortable with complex timelines, multicam, color correction, audio mixing, and exporting for multiple formats.
- Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, strong proficiency required. These are your primary design tools for creatives, brand assets, and production-ready files.
- Adobe After Effects. working knowledge strongly preferred. Motion graphics, kinetic typography, animated infographics, and visual effects that elevate both your design and video work.
- Canva, for quick turnarounds, social templates, and team-editable assets.
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, Adobe Firefly, RunwayML, Pika, CapCut AI) is a bonus that will accelerate your workflow.
- Nice to have: Figma or Adobe XD for UI/UX mockups, DaVinci Resolve for advanced color grading, InDesign for multi-page documents.
Who You Are
- You have 0-2 years of experience in graphic design and video editing, professional, freelance, agency, or a strong personal portfolio that demonstrates both skills.
- You are proficient in both Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop/Illustrator, not just one or the other. You understand design fundamentals, layout, typography, color theory, visual hierarchy and you understand video fundamentals, pacing, storytelling, transitions, sound design.
- You can take a rough brief or a verbal idea and produce a finished asset, whether it's a static design or a video, without needing a 10-page specification document.
- You are fast. Startup speed means tight deadlines, same-day deliveries, and quick iterations.
- Quality under pressure is your strength.
- You have a sharp eye for what works on social media, you understand scroll-stopping design and engaging video content.
- You can manage your own workload, communicate timelines proactively, and deliver without being chased.
- You are open to feedback, iterate quickly, and understand that in a startup the first version ships fast and gets better with each cycle.
Bonus, High-Value Differentiators
- Strong motion graphics skills in After Effects, this single skill dramatically increases your impact.
- Ability to shoot and direct basic video content, even on a phone.
- UI/UX design skills, product interface design, user flows, dashboard layouts.
- Illustration skills, custom icons, characters, infographic illustrations. Experience with brand identity creation from scratch.
- Experience creating content for B2B, SaaS, or tech brands. Knowledge of YouTube SEO, thumbnail optimization, and content strategy.
- Comfort with AI creative tools for rapid concept generation and editing. Experience with print and packaging design.
