Security Guard

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Guard to protect our premises, assets, employees, and visitors. The Security Guard will maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, responding to incidents, and enforcing company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure security and safety.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
• Control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
• Verify identification and issue visitor passes as required.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances.
• Write detailed incident and activity reports.
• Investigate suspicious activities or policy violations.
• Provide assistance to employees and visitors when needed.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, fire departments, or emergency services when required.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.

Working Conditions

• May include day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Outdoor and indoor work environments.
• May require standing or walking for long periods.
